The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This photograph was taken at night, as I was wandering through the alleys of a small medieval village in the south of France, Castelnau de Montmiral. This low lighting shows the contemporaneity of the architecture developed at this time.
